Welcome
and thanks for visiting our web site. We live in the forest of the
Eastern Washington Cascades, just north of the Columbia River Gorge.

Our
work reflects the colors and forms we find around us.

|
|
From
the forest and our garden, Sabrina gathers leaves which she presses
into the clay to form an imprint. She then hand shapes, builds,
and refines the clay leaf into the object she wishes to make. Functional
leaf plates are made out of white and dark stoneware, while jewelry
leaves are made out of a luscious porcelain. Vince uses a potter's
wheel to make his functional wares and is studying Renewable Energy
Technology.

We
use propane to fire our 30 cubic foot kiln. Firing in both oxidation
and reduction, we enjoy the spontaneity of our glazes. The colors
come from our original recipes that have been refined over time.
All our glazes are food, heat, dishwasher safe, and made with nontoxic
materials.

We
live off the grid in a 1970 Madsen/Carpenter school bus with our
6 cats.
